Theres also the ‘haunted side’ of newport. Theres also a place on the beach where a hotel was but fell away to the sand and is now just a concrete slab just about you can see. I tried living here 8 years ago, but couldnt even find a hotel job to work at . You gotta either be in the fishing industry or, ritired, own a gift shop for pennys in your pocket or just have a connection. Or you could work in a nursing home.

Don’t live in Newport, Oregon. It is windy, foggy and rains too much. Go south towards Mexico where the surf and weather are always friendly and warm. We can hardly wait to get back!!!
